Haze and air quality by city
Haze hits riders harder than anyone else on the road, because you sit inside the smoke and traffic plume with nothing between it and your face.
How bad it gets depends on where and when you ride. Bali's smoke is mostly made on the island, Sumatra and Kalimantan burn through the dry season from about July to October, and north India peaks with crop burning from late October.
